Howdy! Thanks for visiting my blog and other social media pages. I hope you see something that resonates with you.

So, if you’re here, you want to know a bit about me, and my writing.

I write Faerie Stories: Warrior Stories for the brave. They range from Children’s Picture Books, to Fairy Tale Retellings, YA Western/Dystopian Faerie Stories, and Christian Allegories. I also write slice of life and theological articles, and flash fiction. All of my stories focus in on some element of light battling the darkness, redemption, and defending the weak. Undeserved rescues, standing, and endurance pulse through all my tales.

From picking blueberries to dealing with designer clothing, from being home schooled to the halls of the local junior college, milking goats, co-owning a business with my husband, keeping house and homemaking, and being an Auntie extraordinaire, I have done a little bit of everything in my life. I’ve lived on both sides of the USA, spent some formative years in the Ozarks, and now live and breathe Texas culture.

My passions are my church, home, family, reading, and writing. I write from a Reformed Baptist/2LBCF worldview without mincing on the dark sides of life and the horror of war, but not bathing in it either. My writing is most influenced by a strange mix of J.R.R. Tolkien, Steven King, C.S. Lewis, A.S Peterson, and Richard Adams, with hints of WW2 history, Viking Mythology, and the American Cowboy Mythos.

I live southeast of Fort Worth with my husband, who is about to start Seminary, and our 11 beautiful trees. I’ve managed four other blogs, helped found a writing group, given writing lessons, and I’m working on an allegorical book for children based on the Beatitudes for my church. You can find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify (FaerieStories), Pinterest.

Thanks for being here, and I’ll see y’all around!
